" Diverged " By Jacky Kapadia At dawn where quiet crossroads softly gleam, Two silent paths pulled thought from steady ground, One paved with echoes of a borrowed dream, The other wild, where truth is rarely found. I lingered where the compass lost its voice, Where doubt and wonder wrestled in my chest, No map could teach the courage of a choice, No crowd could tell which way would serve me best. So I chose the trail that questioned who I’d be, Where shadows spoke and certainty was thin, Each step unmade the man I used to see, And carved a voice I had not held within.
