Beneath the proud trees’ towering grace,
Where sunlight breaks in fractured gleams,
The undergrowth claims its secret place,
A woven world of roots and dreams.
Thorns whisper tales of patient fight,
Of creeping vines and mossy schemes,
They clutch the soil with quiet might
And guard the earth’s forgotten streams.
In tangled shade, small lives convene—
Ants build empires grain by grain,
While ferns unfold in emerald sheen
And drink the hush of falling rain.
Unseen, it feeds the forest’s soul,
A breathing bed where futures start;
From darkened depths, all green things grow—
The wild heart’s pulse, the woodland’s heart.
