Thorns whisper tales of patient fight, Of creeping vines and mossy schemes, They clutch the soil with quiet might And guard the earth’s forgotten streams. In tangled shade, small lives convene— Ants build empires grain by grain, While ferns unfold in emerald sheen And drink the hush of falling rain.
