What if I had waited at that turning of the day,
When doubt stood still and hope had quietly slipped away?
Would time have whispered secrets I was meant to hear,
Or left me lost between regret and silent fear?
What if I had lingered where my courage chose to run,
Held onto fading light instead of chasing sun?
Perhaps the roads unknown would gently call my name,
Or burn my dreams in echoes I could never tame.
What if I had trusted in the pause, the space between,
Where unseen truths and fragile faith remain unseen?
Would patience plant the seeds that haste could never grow,
Or teach me truths my restless heart refused to know?
What if I had waited—would I rise or fall apart?
Would time be kind, or carve its questions in my heart?
Yet here I stand, with choices etched in all I’ve made—
A life not shaped by waiting, but the risks I played.
