The economy of  is, well, let's just say it's a little bit off-kilter. Despite this, while you are in your frenzied state of looting, you will most likely pick up an item or twenty, of which some will be more useful to you than others.

You won't make much money off of the sale of these items—at most, a couple hundred runes—but if you hate having a cluttered inventory, it's a good idea to go to a merchant so that you can get rid of some of the excess baggage you're carrying around. If you want to become Elden Lord, you are going to have to put in a lot of effort.

Ruin Fragment

When you first step foot in the Lands Between, one of the things that will immediately catch your attention is the strewn-about ruination of Limgrave. What mysteries are concealed within these mysterious objects? In their item descriptions, they do provide information about a temple that was destroyed when it fell from the sky; however, other than for the production of Rainbow Stones, they are not particularly useful. However, if you turn them in to a merchant, you will receive a small amount of Elden Ring gold in return. These runes may come in handy in the early stages of the game.

Grace Mimic

At first glance, Grace Mimics appear to have the potential to be of great assistance in a variety of contexts. Awesome!

Except for the fact that this phony site of grace doesn't really accomplish much. You can't rest at it, its fetid ray points in a direction that appears to be completely random, and it's virtually useless in PvP, despite the fact that that appears to be the purpose for which it was designed. They are humorous items that, at best, can be used to make your friends laugh at you. Even though you'll only get ten runes for them, it's better to have some cash in your pocket than to have these items taking up space in your inventory.

Stones used for Smithing at a Low Level

  • Even though you'll want to keep hold of the smithing stones early on in the game, you'll soon get a sack full of them at level one or level two

  • When you enter a cave, you will see that they are practically lying on the ground

  • There are only a few of these rare stones left in the world, and their value far exceeds what they are currently being sold for

The crafting system of the Beast Blood buy Elden Ring runes can be either rewarding or frustrating, depending on the type of player you are.

Because of this, Beast Blood is an extremely valuable commodity in the marketplace. They won't be worth much at 50 runes each, but carrying around a bunch of literal blood that you aren't going to use is preferable, in my opinion.

Members Of The Staff Of The Guilty

The Staff of the Guilty is one of the most peculiar weapons in the game, and this is not solely due to the fact that it has an unsettling appearance. It is a staff that is used to cast sorceries, the majority of which require a high level of intelligence in order to unlock. Instead, it is dependent on faith, which renders it effectively useless for the vast majority of users of magic.

The staff will continue to be nothing more than an oddity for the vast majority of builds, despite the possibility that certain specialized builds will find it useful. Why should more useful staves be pushed aside for it?

Finger of Bloody Putrefaction

Whether or not you decide to sell the Festering Bloody Fingers you acquire during your travels through the Lands Between is entirely dependent on whether or not you enjoy player versus player combat. You will be able to invade the world of another player who is participating in a co-op game when you have Bloody Fingers equipped. This will give you the opportunity to fight other Tarnished players. However, if you do not intend to engage in combat with other players, the items will simply rot in your inventory if you do not use them.

In addition to this, completing White Mask Varre's questline will grant you access to the Bloody Finger, a method of invasion that is incomparably superior to any other. Bloody Fingers, in contrast to their festering relatives, grant the user the ability to attack other players an unlimited number of times without being consumed. Even though it has a high critical strike chance and decent dexterity scaling, most players won't even consider switching from their starting weapon to use it.

Frenzyflame Stone

If you have a surplus of Frenzyflame Stones, whether or not you decide to sell them depends entirely on the strategy you employ as you fight your way to the Elden Throne. If you've decided to become Lord of the Frenzied Flame in the hopes of achieving the most miserable conclusion possible, I have some good news for you.

Frenzyflame Stones are dangerous, however, and should be avoided at all costs by everyone else. When used by a player who has not made a pact with the Three Fingers, a Frenzyflame Stone only causes insanity and has no other beneficial effects on the player's status. However, Frenzyflame Stones can be purchased for a reasonable 100 runes each, so there is no reason not to acquire a few of them whenever the opportunity presents itself. There is some means by which a magic wand, hand ballistae, and knives that constantly weep blood can all be concealed within what appears to be a relatively small satchel. However, Weathered Straight Swords are likely to be the type of weapon that you come across the most.

These are the blades that are used by Commoners, some of the most easily dispatched foes in the game. They can also be bought and sold for a total of one hundred runes, which is an excellent price for such little work, particularly early on in the game. When you first obtain it, it can only absorb about fifty percent of the damage, and upgrading it does not significantly improve its ability to do so. According to the in-game description, the effort required to equip this worthless piece of junk is not justified. The use of one is analogous to attempting to stop a sword with your arm. It can also be obtained by killing demi-humans, the early-game enemies that populate the cave systems of Limgrave and are relatively easy to dispatch. You can pick up around half a dozen without even trying, and delivering them to Kale will bring you a significant distance closer to an early game level.
