Patch Notes for the Path of Exile: Sentinel Update 3.18.1

Patch notes for a brand new update that is now live on Path poe item Exile have been made available by Grinding Gear Games. The update includes a wide variety of previously unannounced enhancements, modifications, and bug fixes.

 


Path cheap poe items Exile is a free-to-play action role-playing game that was initially released in 2013. The new season, which is titled Sentinel, was only released on May 18 of this year. Players have been kept entertained for the better part of a decade by the game thanks to consistent updates and a number of content additions. Path of Exile is available for fans to play on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. Changes and Enhancements That Are More General

 

1. Changed the way certain travel skills behave when repeated through the Echoing Shrine or the Echoist modifier, which is gained by defeating monsters

2.  The Flame Dash, Whirling Blades, and Dash abilities will now always be used in the same direction as the first time they were used

3.  Shield Charge can now be used multiple times, but each time it will only repeat the larger area attack that it uses when it finally reaches its target

4.  When using Leap Slam in place, attacks will now continue in the same direction as the first time it was used



If you are affected by the debuff Thorned Vines, which is applied by enemies with the Entangler modifier, you will no longer take 10% chaos damage equal to the sum of your maximum life and energy shield if you use a travel skill while you are vined.

A player must be within 70 units of a Magma Barrier monster in order for it to spawn a Fire Volatile. Previously, this distance was not required.

It is no longer possible to find the Trickster Monster modifier on Monsters that have been confined within Essence Monoliths.

Totems that are spawned from Rare Monster Packs that have the Heralding Minions modifier have had their maximum number of spawns capped at 5.

25% less damage will be taken from the enraged slam attack used by the Molten Minotaur.

It is no longer possible to re-deploy an Apex Sentinel that differs from the one that was initially summoned in an Area that has the "Apex Sentinels can be re-deployed after being dismissed" Runic Node allocated in the Sentinel Controller. This restriction was placed on the ability to re-deploy Apex Sentinels in the Sentinel Controller.

Sentinels can no longer bestow their empowering effects on time-frozen Legion monsters.

When opening a Map in the large Map Device, portals will now open first next to the Map Device interactable. Essence Monoliths will now display the modifiers and Tormented Spirits that are affecting or possessing the imprisoned Essence Monster.

Wrath of the Cosmos now has a visual debuff that shows how many stacks of the effect you have in a given area.

The Sentinel Locker has been added to the list of Decorations for the Guild Hideout.

Added a keybinding for the controller input that will copy the Favoured Map from above to the currently selected Favoured Map Slot.

The descriptions of several Atlas Passive Skills, the Sextant, and the Eldritch Altar have all been updated to make it clear that they only apply to the most recent Map Boss that was defeated in a given Map if there are multiple.

Updated Impossible Escape Unique Jewels that were obtained before the 3.18.0b patch and had rolled Phase Acrobatics so that they now have Acrobatics instead of Phase Acrobatics.

The description of the Purposeful Harbinger Cluster Jewel Notable has been updated to make it clear that it only applies to the auras generated by your own Skills, and not those of your allies.

Bug Fixes

It is now possible to earn credit toward the Complete Delirium Encounters Challenge by completing any Tier POE Item Simulator 100% Delirious Map with at least four modifiers, as opposed to having to complete a 100% Delirious Tier 16 Map with at least four modifiers. This is a change from the previous requirement, which was for players to complete a 100% Delirious Tier 16 Map with at least four modifiers.

There was a bug that caused Energy Shield Leech to be removed when the player reached their maximum Energy Shield while using the Soul Drinker Ascendancy Passive Skill that was allocated from the Forbidden Flame and Forbidden Flesh Jewels. This has been fixed.

It was discovered that the Life Regeneration provided by standing on Consecrated Ground could cause the Life of some Delve Monsters to overflow, causing them to die instantly while still appearing to be untargetable visually. This bug has been fixed.

We fixed a bug that made it more difficult than it should have been to gain Fortification from Sentinel-empowered monsters by hitting them with fortifying attacks.

There was a bug where Atziri's Apparition would not use any skills during encounters with the Vaal Ritual. This has been fixed.

There was a bug that caused a Summoned Holy Relic to become invisible whenever the player moved to a new location or leveled up their Summon Holy Relic gem. This has been fixed.

There was a bug that caused certain Monsters, most notably Breach Monsters, to display multiple instances of the same Monster modifier visual. This has been fixed.

We discovered and fixed a bug that caused The Unbreakable's Magnetic Beam ability to appear to jerk and shake.

There was a bug that prevented the vendor recipes for a Magic Weapon with an added elemental damage modifier from functioning properly with Bows. This has been fixed.

Fixed a bug that caused some Alternate Art Uniques to not use the alternate 3D art that was intended for them.

It was possible for Support Gems that were socketed in The Squire to appear in snapshots. This has been fixed.

There was a bug that caused Bounty Targets from the Smuggling Routes Atlas Passive Skill to display their icon on the minimap even after they had died. This has been fixed.

We fixed a bug that prevented the filtering system in the Heist Locker from operating as intended.

Fixed a bug that caused the Gem level-up buttons to occasionally rearrange themselves when they were clicked.

Fixed a bug that prevented the Options menu from being closed properly when the "O" key was pressed while the menu was open.

Fix for a bug that prevented using the Controller input mode of the Guild Stash when attempting to store an item without taking into account its Affinites.

Fixed a bug that prevented players in Controller input mode from interacting with the Stellar Core when it was located in the Polaric Hideout.

We discovered and fixed a bug that prevented the Minotaur Weapon Effect microtransaction from functioning as intended.

The rotate animation for the Darkprism Shield microtransaction now plays as intended after a bug was fixed that caused it to play incorrectly.

There was a clipping issue with the Wrangler Hat microtransaction, and it has been fixed.

There were three client crashes that were fixed.
