Moments moved slowly in golden haze, And hope walked gently by our side. The streets we knew now echo new sounds, Old laughter fades in distant air. Familiar paths have shifted grounds, Yet memories linger everywhere. Faces grow wiser, stories grow deep, Lessons arrive where youth once played. Promises kept and some we keep, While shadows dance where light once stayed. Still through the changes the years have spun, A quiet strength within remains.
