Promises kept and some we keep, While shadows dance where light once stayed. Still through the changes the years have spun, A quiet strength within remains. Mountains remember the footsteps of empires, Rivers still sing of stories once told. Dreams of the past glow like fading fires, Softly breathing through shadows of old. Yet every dawn writes hope in the skyline, Even when history trembles in pain. For within every ending, a new lifeline Rises gently like sunlight after rain. So let the ages sigh with their wisdom, For time is a teacher, patient and vast.
