" Against the Common Way " By Jacky Kapadia Against the common way I chose to stand, Where footprints fade before they shape the land, No guiding signs, no echoes left to hear, Just restless winds that whispered, “Do not fear.” They walked in lines where certainty was sold, In measured steps, predictable and cold, But I sought storms that shattered quiet skies, For truth, I learned, in wild defiance lies. The road untraveled carved me into flame, Each doubt a spark, each loss a forged new name, While comfort called from paths so neatly drawn, I chased the dusk and found myself in dawn.
