They hold the stories we didn’t choose, Of roots that stretch beneath our skin, Of losses faced and dreams we refuse, And the silent wars we’ve yet to win. Some names are anchors, heavy and deep, Some are wings that teach us to rise, Some we remember, some we must keep, All reflected in tomorrow’s skies.
