Two Roads 🛣️ By Jacky Kapadia Two roads unroll where morning breaks, One paved with promise, clear and wide; The other bends through silent lakes And shadows where old doubts reside. The first is lit by crowded flame, With signposts carved in public sight; The second bears no guiding name, Yet hums with undiscovered light. I weigh the maps of borrowed dreams Against the pull of untamed will, And hear within the crossing streams A choice that time alone can still. The Undergrowth🌿 By Jacky Kapadia Beneath the proud trees’ towering grace, Where sunlight breaks in fractured gleams, The undergrowth claims its secret place, A woven world of roots and dreams. Thorns whisper tales of patient fight, Of creeping vines and mossy schemes, They clutch the soil with quiet might And guard the earth’s forgotten streams. In tangled shade, small lives convene— Ants build empires grain by grain, While ferns unfold in emerald sheen And drink the hush of falling rain.
