यह दृश्य 1578 ई. के उस मंज़र को पुनर्जीवित करता है जब मुगल सेनापति शाहबाज़ खान ने अरावली की दुर्गम पहाड़ियों में तोपखाने (Artillery) और घेराबंदी का जाल बिछाया था।
⚔️ इतिहास के पन्नों से:
हल्दीघाटी के युद्ध (1576) के बाद, महाराणा प्रताप ने कुंभलगढ़ को अपना केंद्र बनाया। अकबर ने किले पर कब्ज़ा करने के लिए शाहबाज़ खान को भेजा।
• अभेद्य सुरक्षा: 36 किलोमीटर लंबी दीवार और खड़ी चट्टानें इसे अभेद्य बनाती थीं।
• संघर्ष: मुगलों को भी इस किले को जीतने के लिए भीषण संघर्ष करना पड़ा। अंततः, किले के अंदर पीने के पानी के स्रोत में समस्या (या विश्वासघात) के कारण ही इसे एक बार के लिए जीता जा सका।
